Common IP Addresses

Your router's default IP Address may also be found in your documentation, which can often be found online. Use the following steps to search for your IP Address using your computer.

PC Instructions

1. Open the Command Prompt window by selecting Start → All Programs → Accessories → Command Prompt.
2. In the Command Prompt window, type “ipconfig” and press Enter on your keyboard.
3. Search for “Default Gateway” and the corresponding IP Address.

Mac Instructions

1. Open System Preferences. This can be found in the Apple drop-down menu.
2. Select Network → Advanced → TCP/IP. Use the IP Address displayed as “Router.”
